Publisher review:Spacecraft Engineering Toolbox - Satellite tracker, Rocket trajectory simulator This toolbox contains a satellite tracker MSatTrack. You can input orbital parameters defined by yourself or existing ones (included). The tracking is done in 3D and the resulting grountracks are then plotted on a 2D map after the simulation is done. Several satellites can be simulated simultaneously and data can of course be retrieved from the simulation.The toolbox also contains a rocket trajectory simulator. There is an archive with wRASP motor data included and you can specify your own motor data and even create your own wRASP files. The simulator is capable of simulating multistage rockets but does not include the capability of clustering.There is also a tool for specifying rocket specific variables such as motors, drag coefficients, diameters, masses and separation delays for each stage. This rocket data can be used as single argument input for the simulator.There are also some extra functions for designing thermal control, calculating visibility for a satellite, Gregorian to Julian date conversion, hohmann transfer orbits, sorting satellites in a satellite struct array, showing UTC time and plotting rocket motor data, etc...Most programs/functions in this toolbox are GUI-based and ought to be pretty much user-friendly and easy to use.This toolbox can be used in MATLAB 5.1 and upwards. It is tested in 5.1, 5.3 and 6.0. It is mainly created in 5.1.
